The benefits of juicing are undeniable. From clearing out skin to preventing diseases and strengthening immune system, green juices offer incredible and natural help for keeping a healthy mind and body. If you are new to juicing, you might be wondering how to start with that healthy practice.
For my first green juice, I went to a popular website and tried their “green juice for beginners” and I almost vomit! It felt like a cold vegetable soup (no gazpacho precisely). If the thought of drinking a green juice makes your stomach growl, the recipe below is for you.
Coming from drinking only fruit juice, if any, to have green juices might be hard, so I created this recipe with the idea of generate a first good experience, and gradually start increasing the amount of green leaves. Consequently you’ll get used to the flavor and texture, and with that create a healthy habit that soon I’m sure will become an addiction.
Below is a basic recipe. Start with that, and when you are comfortable and ready, add a second handful of spinach and see how it feels. Ready for more? Add a handful of another green leave like kale. In no time you’ll be ready to start creating your own combinations.
